Joe Scarborough may have a point, you know.
In a mini-rant on MSNBC, Scarborough dropped a truth bomb on the public: Joe Biden is smarter and wiser than he has ever been in his long public career.

To people who look at Joe Biden and see a demented old man who can barely string a sentence together, this may seem to be a bit…off. Maybe even propaganda-like. It looks to us as if Scarborough took lessons from the Pravda folks in the 1980s who would look you in the eye and insist that Konstantine Chernyenko was a vital man who was leading the USSR into a brave new age of prosperity in between his daily marathon runs.
But I want to give Scarborough more credit for honesty than that. I think he may actually be right in his analysis of Biden’s brain function.
Joe Biden, you see, has always been an idiot. He has always lied. He is the Fredo of the Democrat Party, always insisting on how smart and competent he is as he betrays his family and screws everything up.
Joe Biden, demented as he is, may be the best Biden ever. He truly might be.
Barack Obama famously warned that one should never underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up, and perhaps if Biden had more energy today he would f**k even more things up than he has since 2021.
I know that seems implausible. After all, how many more things could he f**k up? I, for one, am glad enough to never find out. We may have already had a nuclear exchange with Russia, or an inflation rate of 125%, or have shut down every oil well in the United States.
Biden’s lack of energy may have saved us from an even worse fate. If so, thank God!
A tired, always-vacationing Joe Biden could easily be the best possible version of Biden, save one in a coma. But Scarborough didn’t say this was the best version possible, just the best he had ever seen. This could truly be an insightful analysis accidentally uttered by an MSNBC analyst whose own brain broke many years ago.
I should note that I have used the Fredo analogy before to describe Russia as a country with a well-deserved inferiority complex. I stand by that analogy because it is perfectly accurate. (Putin is not Fredo, by the way. He is more Michael than Fredo, if we want to stick to Godfather analogies.)
Biden, though, is Fredo personified. Too stupid even to embody the Peter Principle, since he never exhibited competence at any level, and as self-assured as a DEI bureaucrat.
So I dissent from the folks on the internet who are laughing at Scarborough. I think, in this case, he is absolutely right. This is the best that Joe Biden has ever been.
