The big news today is that Speaker Kevin McCarthy ordered a formal impeachment inquiry opened into President Joe Biden. He said there is a culture of corruption around Biden. The hot takes and statements from those on Capitol Hill and in the White House are coming fast and furious.

What an impeachment inquiry allows is for additional subpoena power to come in and additional tools to be used in the investigation. As it stands now, the House Oversight Committee has a very good start to having the evidence necessary for an impeachment.
Let me ask this question – what did Democrats expect? They spent four plus years impeaching Donald Trump, not once but twice, and, at least with the first impeachment, there was absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing. None. It was all a lie started by Hillary Clinton and paid for by her campaign. Democrats counted on the media to get behind their efforts and they were right to do so. The media dined off its hatred of the Trump presidency for his entire term in office. Trust me, if Trump finds himself back in office, it will be the same again. Only this time, Trump is set to level revenge.
Joe Biden is a pathological liar. One of his biggest lies is he knows nothing about Hunter Biden’s business dealings, or those of his brother. All of that is proving to be false. Not only does Joe Biden know about his son’s business dealings, he plays a role in them and he gets his cut of the action. He’s referred to as “The Big Guy.”
The media has covered for Biden throughout his fifty years in elected office. They spread the fairytale that he’s an empathetic, kindly old man who wants to heal the country and bring everyone together. In reality, he’s an arrogant narcissist who divides instead of unifying people. His whole reason for running for president – his third attempt – was to beat Trump. He had no vision, no policy choices, no real reason to run other than to stop Trump. He said he would be a bridge to the next generation of leadership, implying he would only serve one term. Nope. He’s insisting on running for re-election despite the scandals erupting and his noticeable failing health.
So, full speed ahead to impeachment. Is there time to go through the whole process before the 2024 presidential election? I don’t know. Today the process was put into effect.

So, here we go into a new adventure. This impeachment will end in the Senate. The Democrat-controlled Senate will not impeach Joe Biden. Republicans will expose him and his family’s corruption. Maybe he will leave office for ‘health reasons’, we’ll have to see. I wonder if Republican impeachment managers will carry the articles of impeachment over to the Senate in the dramatic form that the Democrats did during Trump’s impeachment.
